gold_mania
Hello Guys I need a urgent help with my situation. I have filed my h1b amendment 01/22/2019 and got a RFE in May and within a week got a site visit. And provided additional documents to the officer. Finally I got a decision approval on 12/18/2019 but my H1B validity is showing as 01/22/2019 to 07/22/2019 on approval notice. Just came to know about this today and I am still on the same project. What are my options here in this situation? Thanks in advance Quote Link to comment

User099
Talk to your attorney to see if they can file a Nunc pro tunc request for your to extend your status from 07/22/2019. Quote Link to comment
gopalakrishnach
If you got new I94 with that and if it is valid toll 07/22/2019, it seems now you are out of status. What is your current latest I94 status? You need to figure out first and then your employer must do H1B petition urgently... Quote Link to comment

Attorney has already initiated the h1b petition process yesterday. I was asked to leave the country within a week and come back once the new petition is approved. Quote Link to comment
