H1B PROCESSING TIMES

can i rely on the date which is posted on the USCIS website.

 

My case was received by the Nebraska center on Sep 3  and the current processing date on the website is showing up as 'Aug-29'

 

So in 3-4 days can i expect my case status to be updated?

Most likely, but that date is for you to file a Service request if your don't get an update by that date.

Can you guide me if the applicant (myself) can raise the service request with uscis? Because my friend was advised by uscis Helpdesk that my company or attorney only can raise the request.

I think for a H1, your employer or attorney should raise the request.

You are not the applicant, you are the beneficiary.

The employer filed the H1 petition, only the employer or his lawyer can raise a service request.
