dee_r Posted December 24, 2019 Report Share Posted December 24, 2019 Hi, We filed I-485 for my mother along with I-130. I-130 was filed online and we received a receipt for I-130. We sent I-485 to lockbox and it has been over 3 weeks. We haven't received the receipt yet. My mother's I-94 is expiring soon (Dec 29th). Does she have to leave the country? If not, what happens if the I-485 is denied or returned because of lack of documentation. Will it be considered as illegal stay? Thanks! Quote Link to comment
