DineshSuraj
I have a US citizen child with severe disability. He is getting services which will be difficult to provide him if I have to return to India in case my future H1B application is not approved. I have I-140 approved since last two years. Is there any clause which can help to expedite my GC process? With uncertainty of H1B, I am not able to buy house and so not able to provide my disabled son better living conditions. Houses are super expensive where do I work at the moment. Your help is really appreciated. Quote Link to comment
User099
I don't know of any such rule. But maybe you will qualify for EAD under "compelling circumstances" since I140 valid for more than 180 days. Writing your personal experiences to your own senators and senator Durbin might have some effect on pushing S386 bill. Hope everything works out well for you! Quote Link to comment
xTDx
Your best bet would be to hire a professional and get your case reviewed for an optimal strategy. As said above EAD path might work. It may be a one way street though. Quote Link to comment
