He returned to USA in 1month after getting his visa extension done. I have H4 visa stamping on my passport which was valid till 10 May 2019. I have my husband's I797 which is valid till 12Dec2019. Due to some personal reasons, i currently don't have my husband's supporting documents with me. Hence, I have attempted for F1 visa and tourist visa but my visa is getting refused every time. Can i apply for h4 visa extension with my husband's I797 which is still valid till Decemebr2019? Quote Link to comment

The I797 which you have, is the latest approval copy? or Did he get an extension as its expiring from 1 month from now? 2. You will also need to carry other supporting documents like latest pay checks, W2's, Employment verification letter. You never know what they might ask. Quote Link to comment
