kishorenet
I transferred H1 to new Employer-B. My Wife on H4 Visa and having valid stamping on her Passport with Employer-A . If employer-A revokes my Old H1 petition, Do I need to apply H4 Visa extension with new Employer B ? Quote Link to comment
User099
Its not needed, but I feel if both H1 and H4 have the same I94 end date it will be easier to track. Generally people will forget to file H4 in a timely manner if H4 expires ahead of H1. just my 2 cents! Quote Link to comment
JoeF
An H4 is never tied to an employer. For the H4 it only matters that you have a valid H1. And the old employer is required by law to inform USCIS that you no longer work there, so the old H1 will get revoked. That is completely irrelevant for you or your spouse. Quote Link to comment
