nizel Posted October 8, 2019 Report Share Posted October 8, 2019 Hi, I am in state where the company I was supposed to join filed for my H1B and it got approved but later I joined another company and asked the previous employer to withdraw my petiton which they did on July 3 by sending a mail to USCIS. I am in F-1 status and OPT expires in June, because of pending H1b withdrawal my Sevis got terminated. I do have proof that withdrawal was submitted but yet waiting for the acknowledgement from USCIS. My question is , Can i continue working on OPT as it has expired and H1b withdrawal was submitted?
