rpaturi
Hi There is some news floating in the Internet about our company being acquired. I'm currently in the US on a L1B visa. What happens to the people working on L1B in such cases. The merger can be one of the following. 1. The Business unit I'm working with might be sold to a private equity firm. 2. The Whole company gets acquired and starts functioning under a new name. 3. The whole company gets acquired and functions on the same name as a subsidiary . Please advice .. will the transition process be the same in all cases where my VISA gets transferred to the new company or are there any other scenarios we need to consider. Quote Link to comment

India entity & US entiry both were acquired by Client. Legal team had made documentation in such a way that we had to file Amendment with new company. and it all went smooth. Quote Link to comment
