KaranV
Hi I was working for ClientA from Denver, CO. After 2.5 years, my employer filed Amendment for new Client B for Miami location. After 1 year my amendment got denied. I moved back to Denver, CO and working remote for Home for ClientB (Miami location). Question: Is it safe to travel to India for visa stamping and come back to USA? I have valid petition for Denver, CO location until Aug 2020. My visa on my passport expired in 2017. Please advise, if anyone has gone thru similar situation without any issues or has issues? Quote Link to comment

You are working from Denver for client B. But your client B amendment is not approved. So how can you think of going for visa stamping. If VO asks for I-129 it will have your old client details and he might issue a 221G asking for the amended H-1. There is a similar case in this forum for the exact same issue and that person was issued a 221G. It's up to you if you want to take a chance. Quote Link to comment
