I have already completed 6 years on H1B in July 2018 and currently I have Previous Employer I-140. I got H1B extension with New employer until 2021.
New employer has not started PERM/I140 procedure yet.

I am going to India for vacation and have H1B/H4 stamping in India on first week of October 2019 with New employer H1B petition.
For some reasons my India travel vacation plan got changed.

Last India visit in July 2015 and going to India after 4 years.
My employer is saying if you want to reschedule appointment need to cancel current appointment which is in October and then take new appointment with new DS-160.

If I cancel appointment and take new appointment then
1) Does US Visa Officer will ask me more questions like why you have cancelled earlier appointment ?
2) is it risky at this point to cancel current appointment and take new appointment ?
3) Any chance visa officer will handover 221g due to cancel current appointment and schedule new appointment in March 2020 ?

Please share your opinions on above questions. Thanks in advance.

1. No, he won't even know you cancelled. It is all handled by VFS.

2. No.

3. You are thinking too much. Just relax.
