My H1-B isn't approved last year and my STEM OPT got expired in Feb 2019. So I jointed PhD and the university has offer Day1 CPT. My F1 VISA stamping date is expired in June 2019. I have travel plans to India in December and planning to go for F-1 stamping again. Can anyone suggest what the chances of VISA approval and what questions can be asked during interview. JoeF Posted September 12, 2019 Report Share Posted September 12, 2019 No real university gives out CPT from day 1 in a PhD program. A PhD is about research, not working in an arbitrary job. Your abuse of CPT will come back to bite. Quote Link to comment
