I applied for H4 and H4EAD in june, my end date was Sept 1st.

since they were still pending, On Sept 3  , I applied for H4 - H1 COS  for the same job, now H1 has been approved along with H4EAD yesterday.

H4 status is still pending. I am in process of withdrawing H4.

Can anyone clarify if in case H4 gets approved before withdrawal letter is sent , what will be my status?

what should i do in this scenario?

Looks like your H-4 is already approved because H-4 EAD will not get approved without H-4. Check the dates and the latest one will be your status.

Thanks for you reply,  waiting for the approval notice for H4 , looks like H1 was approved on Sept10 and H4 was approved on Sept 12th.

Is it based on the  approval date  or Validity date of the application?

Based on approval date. Best thing is to go out of country and come back with H-1 stamping, if you want to stay in H-1 status or you can continue working based on the H-4 EAD card.
