san.adi
My employer is processing my Green Card application. I recently got a notice for Request For Additional Evidence from USCIS on my I-140 Application. I reached out to the attorneys representing the employer, to send me a copy of the RFE. I'm being told that a copy of the notice cannot be provided due to the "employer-sponsored nature of the process". Could this be right? Is the individual not entitled to get a copy of the RFE if the process is being sponsored by the employer? Thank you in Advance. Edited September 11, 2019 by san.adi Grammar Quote Link to comment
pontevecchio
The I-140 belongs to the employer and hence they do not have to tell you anything. Quote Link to comment
JoeF
The lawyer works for the employer. You can ask the employer to give you a copy, but, as Pontevecchio said, the employer doesn't have to give you a copy (good employers usually do, though.) Quote Link to comment
