Unemployment on EAD

Hi,

    I received my GC EAD on 2012 and working for company A till last month. I am still on AOS as my dates are not current yet. 
I got laid off recently and will be unemployed until I get another job. 

My question  - Is there any impact on the EAD or my Green card process because of unemployment ? My EAD card is valid till beginning of 2021. 

I really appreciate your response on this.

No. Of course, at some point of time, they may need proof of an appropriate job.

You are fine now. At the time of applying for I-485, you should have employer, which will sign your I-485J.
