sujithn Posted September 4, 2019 Report Share Posted September 4, 2019 Hello I am in STEM OPT which is good until 2021 Jun. In between I got H1 approved and lost job through which I got H1. Now the employer withdrew H1 application on Sep 1st. I am in risk as my h1 will get kicked in on OCT1 . My DSO will only help me to get back to F1 status when USCIS updates my H1 is revoked. which may take more than 60 days. So now on oct 1st when my status changes to H1. 1) can I work for any other employer ? 2) How long can I legally stay ? Can I show proof that I am waiting to get back to f1 status? 3)Can I fill I-539 form for change of status from H1 to f1 after oct 1st ? 4)Can congressman Help me to expedite my case of withdrawal from USCIS?
