chandra vemula Posted September 3, 2019 Report Share Posted September 3, 2019 Hi, I'm trying to book an appointment for visa interview in India with the passport expiry date set as 03/31/2020 and at the same time planning to renew my passport in SFO. While filing the DS160, is it okay to use current passport number or should I wait for a new passport before filing DS160? Meaning would I be able to change the passport number on the DS160 form at a later point in time? Also if I cannot change the passport number, would the US embassy consider the new passport while stamping the visa? Thanks in advance. Quote Link to comment
