Passive income with rental properties

I am on H1-B with priority date in 2010.I have been waiting for green card for last 9 yrs. I do have a rental property where I get passive income. Rental property managed by a property management company. I file 1099 as passive income for my taxes. Is this safe or allowed without any impact on my green card approval when my priority date is current?

Also I want to buy 2 more rental properties. Is there a limit while on H1-B.

If you can prove that you are not involved in the day to day activity of managing these properties you should be ok. Is the rental property managment company is going all the maintanance, leasing and handling all the day to day activity?
