H1B Amendment denied, I94 not expired, Extension filed

Hi 

My H1B Amendment has been denied for my current client, but I94 is still valid, my employer has filed for an Extension with the current client again,

Can i start work again at the location for which my Amendment was denied and extension is filed again with same client? i have stopped working after Amendment denial.?

I guess you can start working on receipt. But I feel wait for extension decision before start working.
