H1B Transfer after i94 expiry and extension denial

My H1B with employer A expired on June 15, 2019 ( both i94 and i797 has same date ). Also the extension filed by my employer A has been denied on August 1, 2019.

I didnot receive any offecial communication from my employer A about my denial. I just checked in USCIS site with my receipt number.

Now Employer B is ready to file H1B transfer for me . Can I stay in US until employer B is filed transfer and approval?

Do I need to travel back to India irrespective of my employer B petition status and come back to US and transfer is approved ?

Please suggest.

I am not an expert and I may be wrong. It looks you are out of status since you do not have I797 and also I94 expired. I feel you must go to India ASAP and come back with visa stamped after employer B petition is approved.
