NN1981 Posted August 3, 2019 Report Share Posted August 3, 2019 Hi All, My H1B visa is valid till 1st Sep 2019. Also I-94 validity till date is 11th Sep 2019. Amendment ( Location Change) was raised on April 2018. Received approval for Amendment on 25 July 2019 but backdated petition valid till 24th April 2019. Am i out of status? Can I file extension immediately from US? do I need travel outside the US? Quote Link to comment
gopalakrishnach Posted August 6, 2019 Report Share Posted August 6, 2019 I feel before 60 days of 24th April 2019 or I94 validity date your must apply for H1B. You can be inside during application before i94 validity. I am not an expert and I may be wrong. Consult immigration attorney. Quote Link to comment
