Dependent visa for wife on H1b

Hey!

 

I wanted to solicit some advice from you guys about the best path forward for bringing over my to be wife to the states. We are planning on getting maaried sometime later this year and my to be wife is planning on pursuing her Masters starting Fall 2020. So I was wondering if it would be advisable to bring here over on H4 then have her switch to F1 for OPT/CPT opportunities? Is switching from H4 to F1 advisable or are there any risks associated with doing that?

 

Also are there any other options that I can consider?

Best option is for her to come on F-1 visa. Changing from H-4 to F-1 takes time. And if F-1 visa is rejected, she still has an option of H-4.
