pullamsetty koteswararao
My H-1 B and 1-94 are valid until 20th March 2020. I lost my job on 13th June 2019 and If I fail to get a new job with in 60 days does it mean I leave USA immediately or can live legally until the expiry date of 1-94,20th March 2020.If I succeed to get a new job in 60 days and obviously I start working from the day of receipt of H-1 B petition by USCIS. If H-1 B petition is not approved with in 60 original days (Ffrom 13th June) and my services are terminated with in 60 original days am I eligible to get new slab of 60 days.I would highly appreciate to get your guidance Quote Link to comment
JoeF
You are out of status, meaning you are illegal, after the 60 day grace period. You would have to leave. If you get a new job, you are eligible for another 60 day grace period (or until the I-94 expiration date, whichever is shorter.) Quote Link to comment
