H1B Change of Employer - Travel outside USA before joining

Hi all

 

My H1B Change Of Employer case was filed sometime last year and was approved in March 2019.

However, I haven't yet joined the new employer and had negotiated the start date to be in August, 2019.

 

In April 2019 (after the I-797 approval came through), I had travelled outside the USA twice and during one of that travel, got my H1B Visa stamped as well with my current employer's I-797.

 

This means I have a new I-94, which is different from the one on the new employer's I-797 approval.

 

Is there anything that needs to be done now, with respect to my new employer's I-797 approval notice, before I can join them in August, 2019?

 

Will a new petition have to be filed (since the I-94 changed)?
