Charlesvijay Posted July 5, 2019 Report Share Posted July 5, 2019 My relative (aged parent of US Citizen) applied for GC in 2018 while visiting her son/ daughter in the US (on B1/B2 Tourist Visa) and was also granted Advance Parole from Oct 2018 to September 2019. In March 2019 she traveled back to India using the Advance Parole granted to her. ( Valid up to Oct 2019).Meanwhile, she has been ISSUED GREEN CARD ( Category: IRO valid from June 1st, 2019 ) Now the question is, as she is considered a US resident now, how much longer can she stay in India? Or to put it in another way, what is the latest date she is legally expected to travel back to the US, as per USCIS regulations in force? Quote Link to comment
