Kamakhya Posted June 28, 2019 Report Share Posted June 28, 2019 I was in USA on a H1B till Sep 2017. Then I resigned from my employment and came back to India. I have used two years of my H1B period and hence 4 years are unused on my H1B status. I also have a B1 visa that was stamped in 2014. I want to travel to US for tourism on my B1. Will my travel on the B1 become a problem for any future H1 employment? If I use the B1 to to go to US for 2 weeks will I lose my cap-exempt status? Will any new employer in USA need to file a petition and go through the lottery? Quote Link to comment
