Karthikp8
Hi, My wife worked as a full-time employee for employer A on H1B and visa is valid till June 25th, 2019. As her job was terminated due to budget issues and she could not find another employer for H1B transfer within 60 days she went back to India in March 2019. Now her H1B is transferred to employer B and got approved I-797B. Can she now travel to the USA with the approved I-797B as her old employer visa is valid till June 25th, 2019 or she needs to again go for Visa stamping? Please help with this. Thanks Quote Link to comment

Bh1bd
Was she asked to show the new approval notice at port of entry? I am in a similar situation. I came back to india and its almost 10 months. Can i travel back on old h1b approval and work on new receipt or should i file premium and wait for the new approval notice? Quote Link to comment
JoeF
You absolutely need the new approval before traveling. Anything else is immigration fraud and would get you banned for life. Quote Link to comment
