user_7070 Posted May 22, 2019 Report Share Posted May 22, 2019 Hi,I’m on my STEM extension and my STEM OPT expires on Feb 4th, 2020 and F1 visa expires on May 12th, 2020. I’m planning to apply for Phd for Spring semester and would like to travel to India in Nov-Dec. Is it worth the risk to travel when my OPT and Visa are near expiration and what is the risk in travel during this time? and if i decide to go do i need to go in for a visa interview with my Phd i20?
