Maryamj Posted May 16, 2019 Report Share Posted May 16, 2019 I have filed my I-140 NIW petition through an outside lawyer, which is still pending, and I’d like to begin completing the I-485 forms. I also have mu OPT-STEM filled that is supposed to start in June. I heard today that my H1B is selected and will be start in October. Given my current visa situation, Can I start filling my I-485? I heard that I need to wait 90 days after the start day of my OPT-STEM before filing for 485, Is that correct? Quote Link to comment
