Hi,

I am working on L1B with expiry in Dec2019 from Sept 2015. Through same employer , I have got H1B approved under 2019, applied under consular processing valid till May 31st 2019.

By being in USA on L1B under same employer  , Can I file H1B extension plus change of status from L1B to H1B?

If yes , then will I be on H1B as soon as I file L1B to H1B? Or it will remain L1B until it got approved? 

 

My case involve same employer, client and assignment.
