Does Collection records can effect H1b Visa Stamping

Hi, I am planning to go to Visa Stamping. Does Collection records can affect my H1b Visa Stamping.  The collection accounts are towards my rental where I previously lived. I am not aware of this debt until I pulled out my credit report from Equifax.

Its better to carry all the documents and if it reflects on your profile, the VO might ask you about this.

No. It will not affect your stamping. Call the previous rental and settle the amount to minimize damage to your credit report.

Hi,

I need not know which category this question can go into...

I am an f1 student, I came to the US on h4 visa, I stayed with my husband in California, I was an occupant at this place. Recently, my husband moved to Austin and I am staying at my cousin's place, who owns a house here. I am not on  any lease now.

Will this be a problem for me in the future ?

Please let me know what can be done about this.
