GayathriNedunuri Posted May 6, 2019 Report Share Posted May 6, 2019 Hi , My H1 extension was filed on March 21 2018 for which USCIS issued an RFE on March 7th 2019. My previous H1 I797B was valid untill 4 April 2018 and I94 untill Aug 14 2018. My GC was filed as my husband's dependent in EB1 category on March 30 2018. GC EAD was issued on Jun 15th 2018 and valid until 14th Jun 2019( EAD. Extension is in progress). My I9 was verified and I converted my status to GC EAD on Nov 22 2018. Should my employer respond to RFE ? If my employer withdraws my H1 will it have an impact to my GC processing. Please advise. Quote Link to comment
policy_wonk Posted May 16, 2019 Report Share Posted May 16, 2019 There is no impact if H1 is withdrawn, you have a valid EAD status. You don't need H1 going forward, work on EAD till you get your GC. Quote Link to comment
