Urgent; L1A RFE in process, i94 Expired

Hi,

I need some expert responses here -

My L1A extension is in process. Received an RFE. Visa is still valid till May 2020, but i94 had expired last year May 2018. RFE filed on March 11, 2019. Currently, the RFE response is being processed by USCIS. Parallelly I had an i140 being processed which is also resulted in RFE and will submit it next week.

So you understand it's been a long time (almost more than a year) and a lot of complications.

I am seeking legal expertise here. In case it lands up in an adverse situation with the extension being denied, what happens to the i140 process. Will I be able to continue the process from home country. Any timeline indications on the process will be helpful.
