H1 & H4 Dropbox - Hyd April 2019

Hi Guys,

Dropped h1 and h4 documents to Hyderabad consulate on 17th. Same employer and same class, same visa category as well like the last stamping.

April 17th - Dropped Documents

April 18th - Online status changed to "Application Received"

April 19th - Good Friday(Holiday)

April 20th - Saturday(Holiday)

April 21st - Sunday(Holiday)

April 22nd - Status still the same "Application Received"

April 23rd - Status still the same "Application Received"

April 24th - Status still the same "Application Received"

April 25th - Status still the same "Application Received"

 

Anyone of you submitted documents for dropbox in hyderabad during the above dates?  I read online that the next step would be Admin Processing, how much time would it take to change status from "application received" to "admin processing" to "issued" or something else.

Here is an update on my case.

On April 26th - Status changed to "Administrative Processing".

You should get an update sometime this week.

Just Watch out for any emails too incase if they ask you to come for fingerprints etc., (Some cases they do ask for that)

Got an email today to appear for in-person interview, can someone with similar experience help me on what to expect in the interview.

This is common in last few months. Just take all your docs. It would be the same as any other in person interview.

Hi,

i had my interview today at Hyderabad consulate. Interview went well with basic questions. Asked for my client letter. At the end gave me a plain white slip and said check for updates via email or call customer care after 3 business days as they  need time for AP.

I am also in a similar boat, dropbox documents for mine and my wife's visa, was asked to attend in person interview, basic questions in the interview. At the end gave me a plain white slip and said check for updates via email (interview date May 6th).

 

Did you receive any updates or did u contact customer care?
