Sameer8
Hi My company applied for perm on 03/07/2019. but my h1b is maxing out on Jun 4th 2019. I know will i not be able to get perm approval and I-140 approval before Jun 4th and will have to travel to india. My question is do i need to save days on my H1b visa so that my company can file for extension once I-140 is approved? Or it does not matter if i exhaust my H1? If i need to save days on visa how much to save. Link to comment
pontevecchio
It is no longer necessary to "save" any days. Once the I-140 is approved or PERM is pending 365 days, you can have them apply for H1 extensions. You do realize that such important questions are best asked of the employers lawyer to prevent any surprises.?> Link to comment
rohit369
Your company can apply for H1 extension now based on PERM application. You will get a 1-year extension in this case. Apply H1 in PP and get it done soon. You can travel to India soon after the approval. Link to comment
