H1 transfer in progress - Can I a file new transfer with a new employer?

Hi All,

My H1 transfer is in progress and my old H1 /I94 is valid until DEC 2019.

I just got my H1 receipt and I am assuming H1 approval take a long time. Meanwhile, I am also looking for alternate jobs and probably will have an offer soon.

Can I initiate a new H1 transfer while the other one is in progress?

I was told H1 needs to be filed within 60 days of unemployment on H1.  My H1 was filed within 1st 20 days but since it is not premium transfer, It is going to take a while. If I get a better job , can I transfer using my old approved petition while there is an existing transfer in progress?

Do you see any issue if I pursue premium processing (from California center) for the petition that is already in-progress?
