cc123
Hi Members, Thanks for your service. I have got arrested for DV in May 2018. My Visa was revoked as well. My case was resolved, I pled no contest to simple battery, 3 years probation, 18 week classes and some fines. I have not left the country and I am applying for OPT STEM Extension this month. What can I expect? Will I get my OPT STEM? I've got RFE on the uscis website. What will I expect, and can I get my stem opt approved? Thank you, Quote Link to comment
xTDx
Why do you think people can give magical answers to your questions ? Apply for the extension and if you receive a RFE then logically the approval will depend on your satisfactory reply to the RFE. Quote Link to comment
Provence
With an arrest, a guilty plea, and a revoked visa, you should exit the US. Reapply for an appropriate visa at a US consulate overseas, and let the CO decide your eligibility to be in the US. Domestic violence is a serious offence. Does your employer know about the arrest and charges? Quote Link to comment
pontevecchio
Have you discussed your predicament with an Immigration Lawyer? Quote Link to comment

Did you get your OPT STEM extension? Did you answer the question of arrest/conviction history on I-765 form? Any information would be helpful. Thank you so much and wish you all the best!
