Can I know the difference between H1B Bridge Petition and H1B transfer?

A H1 transfer is subject to the bridge of continuity if an employer files a H1 petition for an employer whose I94 has expired. In this case if an earlier extension/transfer has been filed before the I94 has expired, the petition filed after the I94 expires can only be approved with an I94 if the previous petition is first approved. Nothing prohibits approval of the second petition without I94 in which case you can leave and return with the visa.
