HI Extension Filed on Last day of i-797 Expiration

Hi, 

My Employer filed my H1 Extension on Last Day of my I-797 Expiration ( 03-09-2019) . but I-94 is valid till  03-19-2019.

my Question is whether extension filing on last date of i-797 expiration is valid,  or will i considered be as out of status.

i yet to receive the reciept Notice,  but my attroney recieved an email  with Case number from uscis, saying that my Extension documentation has been received.

i see in USCIS status  site, has updated that they receive the documentaion on 9th.

Please let me know, if my Etension filing is valid or not .

Extension os status is the extension of i94. As long as USCIS sends you a receipt number with the application received date before i94 expiry, your i94 extension will be approved along with h1b extension on its merit.

All these confusions and uncertainties can be avoided if the employer can file a few months in advance and not wait for the last day.
