Visa stamping when I797 petition expires in 1 month

Hi,

PERM was filed on Nov1st week waiting for the approval.Assumption is PERM would be approved in few days and file I-140 in PP. Can I travel to India for 2-3 weeks now  to recapture few days on visa extension.Current petition expires on April 15th. I need to get the visa stamping, if I apply for visa stamping will it be approved as the petition expires in 15-20 days. Please help on this.

You should get visa stamped, but might get some questions from VO regarding such short time frame.
