Also, I am getting my H1B visa filed this April. My husband's employer will file for his H1-B extension in 2 weeks. When should I file for my H-4 extension? Does my spouse's employer should file for my H4 extension along with his H1B extension? Would there be issues since I am also filing for H1B this year? What is the correct process to do it? Yes that is how most people file h4 extension.
