Travel with six months validity left on I-94 card

Hello. My H1-B visa petition is valid until August of 2020. But, my passport is expiring in six months (September 2019). I have applied for passport renewal at the Indian Consulate in Atlanta. I plan to travel to India in April once I have obtained my new passport. I will be good to travel at that time, correct? Or should the I-94 expiration date be at least six months away? Thank you.
