H1B dined on Nov 8th 2018

Hi 

My wife new H1B was filed on March 2018. She got RFE and after that H1B dined on Nov 8th 2018. My attorney has filed appeal on January 8th 2019. 

Will i get new receipt number ? Can someone please let me know. My wife old USCIS case details still shows as denied in USCIS website.

Hello sakthi,

You will be getting a new petition number for the I 290 B motion or appeal, Whenever the status change happen in new petition, parallel your old petition gets update.

My case is similar and I haven’t got any new receipt for MTR. My H1B got approved and I am done with my stamping and came back to US, but online portal still shows the same status. So I recommend not to depend on online status.
