Hi,

Recently I got a new job after I received the job offer I've to travel to India. I'm currently on H1-B, So I asked my employer to hold on H1-B Transfer until I return back to states. My New Employer did waited until I returned back but unfortunately they seemed to have used the old I-94 for filing the H1-B Transfer. Today I received the Approval for the New Employer but it has the older I-94 valid until 1/2022 where as my latest I-94 with my current employer is valid till 11/2019.

My concern here is should I travel outside the country as both I-94 are different to join the new employer.

Details :

New Employer  :

I797 Approval from : 1/08/2019 to 1/1/2022

I 94 validity with Old I94 Number  : 01/08/2019 to 01/11/2022

Current Employer :

1797 Validity : 10/31/2017 to 11/16/2019

I 94 Validity with New I94 Number : 11/16/2019

Please suggest if I can join the new employer without travelling outside the country. Do I need to visit USCIS field office to make corrections with the I94 #. Thank you.

No issues as long as you have a valid I-94 at the bottom of your I-797 approval.
