H4 approved after F1 stamping.

Hi,

 

I'm currently in the US on F1 visa for which I have attended the visa interview in India in July 2018. My husband's H1B was applied in April 2018 along with my H4. But we received the approval last week. Since I travelled when my petition for H4 was pending for F1 stamping, we expected the the H4 petition would be abandoned. But we still received the approval for it. 

 

What is my current status? Can I continue on F1 as my sevis shows active. If not, can I travel to home country and come back on the the same F-1 to continue on it.

 

What should I be doing to continue on just F-1 visa. Please advise.
