Abhin
I am based out CA and my employer has agreed to file GC under Eb1 category, I qualify as exceptional ability and also under executive managerial with evidence and have all documents and papers around what I have done. I am on a blanket L1 A and my priority date is August 2018, and the 140 application is still pending and during this time my employer is thinking of moving me from one state to another, we have offices in bot the states as well, the questions that I have are; 1. Can relocation be done and if so would there be issues if I am moved to a new location while my i1-40 is in progress, I still have 3 more years on my current visa, would I need to do an amendment to the existing petition ? 2. Are there chances of getting a RFE ? 3. Earlier I-140 used to get done in a very short time span, but now it extends to several months and the Visa bulletin doesn't seem to be moving on priority dates, is there any input to this Appreciate any inputs, I am fully aware this is not a legal advise but just wanted to be aware. pontevecchio
1. Relocation is possible subject to the parameters of L1A blanket. 2. Who knows your credentials better than you? Presentation by the Lawyer is king. 3. Suddenly they have a massive influx of people in "EB1" and hence a backlog of an year or more is happening. Are you saying the Employer has no lawyer involved?
