H1- stampissue-H4 enter USA- change to H1

Planning to go to india for H1 stamping in 10 days. Say if there is issue in stamping and got 222g

1) can I change status to H4 - attend H4 stamping and enter usa

2) will I be questioned at POE why my H1 stamping was not resolved but came in h4

3) after coming to USA on H4, will I be able to get back on H1 with my same employer

1. You can apply for a H4 visa if you qualify.

2. NO. 

3. The same employer can file a H1 petition for you and get it approved following which you can join them .

Thanks for the reponse. Will I fall under cap/lottery for getting back on H1 again? 

Will my validity on current i797 change in that case?

You will not go through lottery again.
