H4 Change of Status - California Service Center

Hi All: 

Anyone who has filed H1 to H4 change of status at California service center recently, and know of the current processing times involved ? Or know anyone who has done it recently. Asking because I have filed for COS and H4 EAD, and is currently waiting the response. 

COS filed - Dec 1 2018
H4 EAD filed - Dec 14 2018

Would like to understand the processing time involved as I have a job offer that will only accept H4 EAD. The employer is willing to wait, but for a reasonable time frame. 

By not setting a realistic expectation I risk putting them in a difficult situation and spoiling my future employment chances; also potentially spoiling the chance of someone else with an approved H4 EAD. Any help/suggestions anyone can offer is much appreciated.
