Appealed H1B approved after current cap H1B was approved and stamped

Hi,

 

I have a question regarding multiple H1B approvals with the same client in different cap years.

I applied for H1B 2017 cap,which was selected in the lottery and got denied with RFE in Dec 2017, to which i filed an appeal to reopen in Jan 2018.

Filed new Out Of Country H1B petition in April 2018 and received approval in Sept 2018 till 2021.

Traveled Out Of Country in Oct 2018 and got my VISA stamping done with new 2018 H1B till 2021 and I94 updated till 2021.

Now received approval for my appeal filed for 2017 H1B, approved from 2017-2020.

What will be my status right now?

Will Appealed H1B override my current stamped H1B and I94 which I received upon my most recent entry?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,

My company applied new H1B in 2018 while MTR from 2017 H1B is pending. 

2017 H1B cap got denied in December 2017 and applied an appeal in Jan 2018 within one month of the denial date. Reason for denial is that we were not able to satisfy with the reply we sent speciality occupation rfe. 

Now, 2017 H1B  appeal was approved in Dec 2018 after 2018 H1B cap received approval and got stamped in Oct 2018.

Even my case got denied on Jan 10th, 2019. Please let me know whether I can go with the same route as you did.
