zyx123
I have been on with programmer analyst title for last 10 years. Am being under pressure to change my title and file amendment and extension under regular processing this time, but I would like to apply h1b with same title under premium processing to avoid last minute hassle. Please suggest! Link to comment
xTDx
Title doesn't mean anything. It depends on SOC code and job duties. Your employer and attorney would know better about your case. Link to comment
LeaveMessageH1B
As an adult no one can force you to do anything that you do not like. Now as far as employment goes it's an employer's/attorney's say, not employee's. if it's you who would actually decides a title, then you must be in 'C' / Manager level and clearly understand that misrepresentation or lying on petition may result in outright denial. Also per your question in title: there's no specific job title that always gets denials....if applicants job duties does not match with education qualification, USCIS will ask for evidence to prove that it is relevant, and if they're still not satisfied with the clarification, they will deny the application.
