This would invite scrutiny. The assumption would be that the company hired her because you are a partner. Whoever receives and evaluates the job application would know that she's the spouse of a partner, which likely would result in preferential treatment. The only way I could see this work would be if the while recruitment for the job is handled by an outside firm. So, in short, your spouse should find work at another company.
